So I went to Columbia University yesterday. Very impressive place. It's in a nice neighborhood up in Morningside Heights (Manhattan, west of Harlem) and the campus itself it awesome and huge.
Today I went to the Museum of Modern Art. Let me tell you..some shit is weeeeeird. I saw one of the models for the new proposed towers for the world trade center, very interesting. I also some famous stuff like Van Gogh's starry night, lots of chagall, matisse and picasso too. And a freaking lot of Jackson Pollock's crap, and some Andy warhol too.che Also that painting with that women and the guitar thing and that lion standing over her. Also saw some Renoir and Monet. The place itself is like freaking modern art, very cool though. I'd say check it out if you're ever bored in NYC. |
